What Is Robata-Ya?

"Robata" is a traditional Japanese charcoal grill. We use special Binchotan charcoal, imported from Asia which burns hotter than normal charcoal, which sears in the flavor. "Ya" is the Japanese word for "house".

Robata-Ya proudly serves Jidori Chicken as well as local farmed vegetables and the freshest seafood and fish from all over the world.

What Is Jidori Chicken?

Jidori Chickens are raised free-range, fed all natural grain vegetarian diet with no meat byproducts, and without any hormones or steroids.

Jidori is a company based in Los Angeles, the chickens are brought in live and processed locally ensuring the freshest chicken available.
